The Bruised Peach Press continues to inspire poetry awareness by providing a website with news, book reviews, editorials from published poets, poetry submissions, and contests for poets. We also provide an extensive calendar with nationwide poetry events; including readings, festivals, book signings, and more! Subscribe now to receive updates!  

We are currently accepting sonnet submissions! Click on the Submit tab to copy and paste your sonnet OR email it to TheBruisedPeachPress.Editor@Gmail.com. We are looking for standard English sonnets (14 lines, 4 stanzas, imabic pentameter, rhyme scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF GG). The deadline is February 20, 2012. Winner will receive a $15 Amazon gift card and their sonnet featured on TheBruisedPeachPress.com! Good luck and happy writing!

We are currently in the process of creating an open forum to allow poets to publish their work online and converse with others. Our poetry contests will be held this way, allowing for members of the forum to vote for the best poem, as well as to participate in online Slam Poetry events. We are still posting editorials, book reviews, and news stories on the site; as well as updating our events calendar and accepting submissions.
